For some reason, my DNS changed and no one from my hosting company thought to tell me this…until three e-mails later asking WHY my site was down for this entire time. WTF?
Anyway…some GREAT news!!!
I GOT PROMOTED!!!!
Yes, PROMOTION!!!!
AND I got an AWARD along with $250 gift card to AMEX. It’s not a huge sum of money but it’s the fact that I was nominated for an award for my hard work is what makes me happy! It’s a “Performance and Team Award for Absolute Personal Best.” 
for becoming the subject matter expert in NetDMR and the O&M team. (woo hoo)
(I blanked out my last name) It’s a nice little plaque that I can put in my office and alongside are the little gift cheques from AMEX. I think I will invest in a Kindle or Nook with the money (or pay off some bills). I’ve been divided between which eReader so hopefully sometime this weekend I can go and take a look at both. My hard work for the past two years have paid off! It was quite a way to start off my week as I heard about my promotion and award on Monday this week. Now…just more hard work to look forward to! haha. just kidding..i hope.

I’d invest in a iPad with that money… a 2nd generation on that is.

yea but an iPad is used for more of the apps and I would probably only use it for reading. Plus the glare from sunlight makes the ipad impossible to read!

From what i’ve heard, the kindle is the better product. I’ve heard a few negative things about the nook breaking very easily.

I had the same problem with the DNS, I found it was because they had sent emails but they all went into my spam box which I never check (I get so much spam, it’s impossible to go through it all). Annoying
